Fire and Flame

Fire and Flame is another powerful chapter in the collaborative relationship between longtime friends, neighbors, and songwriting partners Eric Maring and Eric Olson. The album poignantly points to remembrance and change; of lives, love, loss, and of the younger people we were. Rather than a mournful lament, the songs contain a certain joy in the bittersweet - and perhaps even a wink at our younger selves hinting, “it’ll be alright.” The themes converge in the title track linking our fleeting human composition to the hot cauldrons of the stars to which we return, and the connections of birth and rebirth, the celestial and terrestrial.
